Winner - Special Jury Award
1985 Cannes Film Festival

Production Designer Geofrey Kirkland brought Robert on board to be the set designer of the critically acclaimed film that also won the Special Jury Award at the Cannes Film Festival. Robert drew over 100 sheets of working drawings, producing sets on both coasts.

You are looking at a complicated set-up that was shot in Hercules, California. Robert had to draw the 150-foot abandoned structure in order to design a new structure that sat on the top of the old tower. Stunt rigging was required because one of the characters falls from the roof.
