The wooden garden stairs take you up to a rose arbor that used to reveal the underside of the neighbors spider webbed under carriage of his parking platform. Since this was at the perimeter of the property Bovill placed a large mirror inside the arbor. Now it seamlessly makes you see the reflected sky instead of ugly water stained lumber.
